Imagine this: a young Egyptian girl raised in Saudi Arabia, where the idea of travel was deemed forbidden. Sounds like the beginning of a familiar tale, doesn’t it?

Well, that girl was me, and I’m excited to unfold my journey for you.

Like many girls growing up in the Middle East, I harbored grand dreams of exploring the world. However, the path wasn’t straightforward.

Travel remained an elusive option in my family, leaving me feeling trapped in a place where I didn’t quite fit.

(I’m sure many ladies can relate)

But I recognized the need for change.

One day, I decided to start a big journey. I began working early, and while I was in university, I also volunteered at a company to learn more. I worked hard and grabbed every opportunity that came my way.

And then… it happened!

I saved enough money from my full-time job as a project manager and a side business I started. Just before turning 20, I took my first solo trip to Sri Lanka.

That trip changed EVERYTHING.

The unique culture, the diversity, the kindness of the people – it was all too much to take in at once. And don’t get me started on the freedom I felt! I’ll never forget that trip.

I was captivated by the beautiful natural scenery, which was so different from what I was used to back home. 

I felt like I was experiencing a different world, one that I had only ever dreamed of.

That trip sparked a fire in me, and I knew that this was just the beginning of my story.

I met other travelers on my trip who inspired me to keep exploring the world.

But not everyone was happy about my passion for travel…

My family didn’t approve of my passion for travel, and I struggled because of it.

But I knew deep down that this was my life, and I was in control of MY STORY.

Despite everything, I kept pushing forward, and I found myself in Beirut when the explosion happened in 2020.

I stayed there for a month and a half to help rebuild the city after the disaster. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

That time felt like everything exploded in my life, and it was a wake-up call to prioritize my mental health and well-being.

I started therapy and spent time exploring myself, trying to find my authentic self. It was a humbling experience that reminded me of the importance of self-care and connecting with others.

Traveling to me is about connecting with people and sharing my passion for travel and adventure.

And I’m grateful for every challenge that has come my way, as it has helped me to become the person I am today.

My journey has been and still is extremely challenging. But, facing these challenges head-on has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. 

Traveling solo has allowed me to become fully independent and has taught me to rely on myself in every situation.

Through my YouTube channel, I hope to inspire others to pursue their passions and dreams, even if it means stepping out of their comfort zone and facing challenges along the way. 

I believe that with determination and a positive mindset, anything is possible.
